2020 Easter Eggstravaganza
At Easter last year, the Swindon office were eggstremely generous and helped us donate over 100 Easter Eggs to SMASH, who were incredibly grateful for our kindness.
We had planned to do the same this year in both Swindon and London, however with the current surreal circumstances, it isn’t practical to collect Easter Eggs to donate at the moment.
Instead, we are going to hold a Virtual Raffle with the star prize being a Giant Easter Egg. Each ticket is £2. The money raised will go to charity – we are currently investigating whether it’s possible to still send Easter Eggs to charity/hospital given the current situation, but whatever we do, the money will go to a great cause in some form!
So, how are we going to hold a virtual raffle?
Make a donation via https://www.gofundme.com/f/myo-easter-campaign. Remember, its one raffle entry for every £2 you donate. Make sure you leave your full name!
Your name will then be added to a Google Sheet (here). If you donate £2, your name will be on there once. Donate £4 your name will be on there twice. £10, 5 times… and so on.
Shortly before the raffle, the names on the Google Sheet will be shuffled and everybody will be allocated a nue we going to hold a virtual raffle? 1) Make a donation via https://mber. This will become your raffle ticket number.
We will draw the raffle on Wednesday 8th April at 2pm via Google Hangout. Everybody is welcome to watch from wherever you are. We will also record the hangout so you can watch later if you cannot make 2pm.
I appreciate there is a lot of uncertainty at the moment but it’s an eggscellent cause with the added bonus that you could win some chocolate too!
